1. WORK AND ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT AND MICRO -ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT.
Business Training Seminars and Workshops.
The business and financial training will focus on developing women’s economic knowledge and power. These programs will help ensure that women and girls are prepared to fully participate in the business, educational, and civic institutions in their communities, thereby promoting their advancement.
Career and Vocational Mentorship.
The goals of the mentorship program are to expand the knowledge, insight, awareness of women and girls in relationship to their workplace environments, and to assist them to reach their career goals and full potential in their fields of choice, while maintaining a balance between their personal and work lives.
Information Technology and Communications Activities.
This has proven to be a tremendous tool for women in preparing them for the workforce offering a wide variety of training and development activities as they embark on their careers or start a business
Micro -enterprise development : The Cardea Center’s mission of serving as a portal for women’s empowerment and access to opportunity makes Micro-enterprise one of its primary program areas, especially focusing on two demographic groups: 1) Low- and middle- income women and girls; 2) Immigrant and refugee women.
Trade Specific Small Business Training.
The programs in this category will be developed for immigrant artisans and vendors of artisan products, and may expand at a later date to others such as culinary arts and child care.

2. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND GENDER ENRICHMENT.
The overall goals of the personal development and gender enrichment program is to confront issues of identity, empowerment, and self expression, including self-esteem, personal fulfillment, communication, self presentation, public speaking, and assertiveness. The focus will be to expand the knowledge, insight, awareness and skills of women and girls and to assist them in reaching their full potential and well-being.
An additional focus is to help women care for themselves and others and to be able to tap other women’s organizations, services and support groups.
There will also be a focus on women's culture and history, including crafts, art and history; as well as on personal problems and work/life balance of women of all ages, including individual and group support and guidance about women's critical concerns such as health, mental health, addictions, and domestic violence.

3. PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP.
The program goals are to:
To increase awareness about current policies and legislation affecting the welfare of women and girls without taking specific positions on legislation and policies
To encourage women’s participation in the political process and their full inclusiveness and equity in all areas of life and work.
To identify, educate and inspire women and girls who want to pursue their leadership aspirations for elective office and other leadership positions at local and state levels including political skills, knowledge of local issues, mentors, public speaking, fundraising, campaigns and elections, networking, and civic participation.
To conduct surveys to identify priority issues of concern for women in the region and compile current information on those issues.
It will also include developing and maintaining working relationships with elected officials, on a nonpartisan basis.

4. FORUM FOR NATIONAL AND GLOBAL WOMEN’S CONCERNS.
This program is designed to build awareness and support for global concerns of women; to provide opportunities for women and girls to hear from renowned experts about global and national issues impacting women; and to expand educational and public awareness activity for the benefit of local women and girls.
An additional goal is to offer critical perspectives on women's concerns and issues, bring these issues to the forefront and give women an opportunity to connect with other women through common causes as well as provide opportunities to connect with and support national and international organizations.
